It is so exciting that God is working in lives through Lighthouse Baptist Church! A few months ago, a mom accepted Christ and her son was saved just a few weeks later. Shortly after that, another man was saved as a result of reading a Gospel tract one of our members gave to him. Two folks raised their hands to indicate they called out to Christ to save them after our Christmas eve service!
As a church, we exist to do many things, but a primary goal of any church is to see the lost come to Christ. It is so thrilling to see God working through our church! Keep it up! Ask God for boldness and opportunities to share the Gospel, seek the lost around you wherever you are, and endeavor to share with them the wonderful news that Jesus Christ loves them so much He died to save them from their sin. Never forget that you are God’s plan for reaching the world with the Gospel!
As you reflect on the previous year and set resolutions for the new year, be sure to include goals for giving out the Gospel. See if you and your family can hand out a certain number of tracts every week. Make efforts to open your Bible and share Scripture with someone who needs the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. Add to your prayer list a daily request for God to allow you an opportunity to share the Gospel that day. Remember: every one that you pass in your day is someone Jesus loves dearly and wants to save.
