I am beyond excited about what God is doing in my own life right now. He is answering prayers like I have rarely experienced and I am receiving His grace on a day to day basis. It is such an understatement to say that GOD IS SO GOOD! I have recently begun earnestly praying for revival in my own life, in my home, and in my church. I am asking God to make me AWARE of my sin so that I may confess and forsake that sin. I am praying that God makes me AWARE of His greatness so I humbly approach Him in worship. I am ASKING God for His grace to live the Christian life and be a soul winner at every opportunity.
I am also praying fervently for the Revival Meetings coming up here at Lighthouse Baptist Church. Please pray with me for God to do an amazing work in our church! I am desperately seeking God and begging Him to pour out His grace on our folks. Please prepare for revival in your own life!
- Ask God to SHOW you your sin – lower the defenses and pray as David did in Psalm 139:23-24 “Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: and see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”
- CONFESS your sins to God – open your mouth and admit your sin. God knows your heart, but confession leads to mercy. “He that covered his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesses and forsaketh them shall have mercy.” Proverbs 28:13
- Humbly PLEAD with God for His grace to be poured out in abundance on your life, your home, and your church. “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” James 5:16b
- Pray for our preacher, Sam Davison, to be FILLED with power from God and for the Word of God to have free course (2 Thessalonians 3:1).
Let’s get excited about what God will do TODAY and what He will do during our revival meetings. We need to be busy PRAYING for revival and INVITING folks to come!
